The CT7 Carbide Tipped Hole Cutter is the perfect tool for the professional electrician, plumber, mechanic, and contractor. Some common applications include drilling through junction/switch boxes, metal studs, appliances, auto body repair, truck/trailer frames, and ductile pipe. Ideal for cutting steel plate, iron, aluminum, copper, cast iron, stainless steel, fiberglass and plastics up to 1" thick. The 3/8" shank allows for use in corded and cordless electric power drills. It drills faster, cleaner, and lasts longer than bi-metal holesaws. CT7 carbide tipped hole cutters can also be an alternative to a 1/2" shank Silver and Deming (S&D) Drill. Because it cuts along the perimeter, it drills faster and cleaner than a twist drill. The triple edge cutting system features two sets of three cutting blades, each with different geometries. This unique system balances the cutting forces enabling rapid, smooth drilling with better control.
